I love this time of year.  It's still okay to get away with summer pieces in my wardrobe, but start to incorporate some fall essentials. One of my main staples has always been a great plaid top.  Sometimes it's an inexpensive flannel to add color (and warmth!) to an outfit. Other times it's a really gorgeous fabric that hangs well and layers beautifully.  Paige Denim has a viscose blouse that I can't get enough... I'm sure you'll be seeing me post about it more often. And Equipment has a specific way of mixing the down home feel of plaid with the high fashion blend of silk. The look is impeccable. 

Yesterday, we went on a lovely walk through the Skirball Cultural Center. I needed something easy and functional without losing all fashion sense. Pairing the Paige "Trudy" (comes in several colors) blouse with off- white skinny, cropped jeans and a few layering tanks. I finished the look with layering tanks.
