Bringing in May Flowers

In my teenage years during the late 80s, early 90s, Laura Ashley prints were big with us Texas girls. Once I moved to California, I developed a slightly different style and strayed away from those feminine prints.  Blame it on the pregnancy, but I've been eyeing the florals again. And I must not be the only one. From high end designers to budget friendly marketers, I'm finding pieces I love (in both maternity and non).

I didn't even realize it until I took a glance at photos from the past few months, but this didn't suddenly happen: I've been wearing flower-y prints plenty this year.... like these non-maternity dresses  HERE IN THIS POST and HERE (in purple floral) and HERE (in black floral and sheer sleeves).

The floral dress I wore today to an event with Amy Davidson is Tiffany Rose maternity (click on little icons for accessory details).

(And side-note, the bracelet is just a necklace like this one wrapped around my wrist). The dress has such pretty/happy print, it got me excited for summer florals I'll be wearing till the baby comes and some I will work toward fitting into post-pregnancy, like these NON maternity dresses below:

And here are pieces for "styling the bump" now, starting below $35.

As always, send pictures our way if you find yourself wearing something we blogged about. And Happy Early Mother's Day to all of you out there. xo
