SWEATER ROUND UP...before they're gone!

Between my more serious posts about breast cancer awareness and freezing my eggs, I’m squeezing in a fun, light one. Sizes and colors are going fast… here we go! Y’ALL - all sweaters are $35 or under!!

I’m wearing a small. It looks tight around my waist, but it’s not. I’m holding it up here; there’s some room there. This is so soft and comes in 4 colors and is $35!! (Might be even lower today??) I’m contemplating the black, too. Or white! But this blush is a favorite color of mine. I put this up on stories asking if looked too much like a “mom style!” Well, I AM a mom, so… I guess it works. Wearing them here with my Leopard Rothys. No secret how much I’ve loved these (washable, comfortable and made of recycled materials!). Really love the slightly puffy sleeves cause they balance out my hips (see close up photo below). Every time I show this cross body wallet/phone case, I get asked about it. So, linking it today. It’s $21 and has held up perfectly (with abuse!) for over 18 months.

This sweater is under $30! Sooo soft. It comes in several colors and color-blocks. As of this morning, this color was gone, but is coming back in stock. I like the yellow and peachy-pink, too. BUT they have THIS COLOR in the turtleneck for $29!! Look how pretty below!

These two below are ONLY $20! I added one of them to get to free shipping in my target cart. I’ve worn them both a few times now. Very comfortable and soft. Not itchy, which I was concerned about. The leopard print looks exactly like the Rachel Parcel one (more expensive)! I am showing you below.

I love grey! Variations of grey (maybe not 50 shades;) but we can start with two!

And last one above is on Amazon Prime. I LOVE this affordable turtleneck and adding it to my PRIME DAY cart tonight. Also looking at the Instapot. Who has one? Do I really need it? I used to do a ton of slow cooking, but lost my slow cooker in the divorce. Oh well… I could get this one for $79 on prime day, I think. Thoughts?

My Rothy’s are a staple now in my wardrobe and many of you have converted after hearing me talk about them so often. (Like HERE, and in this post and this post about on set, too!) If you’ve followed along on social for a while, you’re aware of the myriad of reasons I wear Rothy’s. Sustainable fashion (check the amount of recycled plastic they are repurposing on their website), WASHABLE, comfortable, slip-ons… are a few of the reasons. I keep a pair in the car for when I’m walking across studio lots for meetings (then will slip into heels right before I walk in;) These go from day to date night, yoga to school pick-ups. I even wore the sneakers all day at Disney recently. One other quick thing… the petal pink ones in these photos I got when I was pregnant with Hayden. Been washing and wearing ever since. They last!

Blue Jean Baby

Good afternoon, y'all! Happy Friday. We had @Ographr come take some snapshots a little bit ago. I take so many photos of the kids on my phone, but it's nice to have some high quality pictures of them and the whole family occasionally. 

After wearing variations of the denim on denim trend this week to meetings and auditions, I thought I'd do a quick post about it. I'm really hoping to do more of these posts. The easy thing about denim layers is your probably already have it in your closet! The one new piece I added this season is this jacket.

Remember the super snug, almost kid-size phase the denim jacket had for almost a decade? (I've kept that jacket as it's still in style, along with the distressed version here!) But this year we have options with breathing room. Which I like. And I love throwing the jacket over my shoulders--over a dress, like in THIS POST. As soon as the weather switches temperatures, I'll wear it with a light sweater, leggings and boots and scarves! 

Along with the Topshop one I'm wearing (size small, pictured first), I also like these other styles:

I wore hoops to the meeting earlier this week (these are so inexpensive- only $12). Running around, I wear my white converse or washable rothy's flats (I actually wash my converse, too- on gentle). I have the flats in navy rounded-toe, red and light pink (pictured right). They aren't inexpensive, but comfy and easy to wash; the flats are also made with recycled, earth-friendly materials. Mine have lasted a long time. 

On a different note, the one thing about this outfit I will change next time- I would wear darker denim jeans. I like  the stark contrast of the two different denim shades for fall and winter.

Hope you all have a great Friday. Game 3 of the World Series is on tonight! Who will be watching?? It'll be a good one. I vacillate between who I want to win! H-town needs a good break!

And undoubtedly, we will be outside a lot this weekend. These two boys of ours LOVE the sunshine.

When Playtime Meets Worktime

Last week, I got to go banter with my one of my besties for a Priceline commercial.  I've had the opportunity to work with friends before (even with Kaley in THE WEDDING RINGER). But, this was the first time I got to play myself and our real friendship. It was fun, to say the least, which makes it seem a lot less like work and more like a play day! I can't wait for you guys to see the spot soon!! It's a pretty fun take on real life. 

Wardrobe picked out some of the cutest pieces around... and I learned about some new stores, like & Other Stories.  We tried on many variations, but ended up with this Theory dress on sale at Nordstrom Rack! Just add a strapless bra (I'm wearing a high cut bra from Natori that I they gave me. And although I had on nude heels (the same ones I wear all the time--- they are so on sale right now, I have to share... $27... I think I'll order a second pair to have on hand), I ended up wearing my comfy ROTHYS. 

And while we're on shoes... how fabulous are Kaley's ruffled sneakers. Just a hint of ruffle. I nearly died over them (anyone that's following me lately knows I'm into a little ruffle added somewhere somehow- check THIS POST, or THIS ONE). This sneaker is so subtle, I love it.

Many of you have asked about makeup, so I'll post about that soon. But, stay tuned for info on when the commercial will air. And, I have some exciting work stuff I'm shooting this summer. I so wish I could say right now, but it would ruin the surprise!!
